Vets on the Meowve North West was created to bring calm, convenient, high-quality veterinary care to pets and their owners across Greater Manchester and surrounding areas.
Led by Antonio Rico-Villademoros, an experienced Veterinary Surgeon with a passion for personalised, stress-free care, this branch was inspired by Antonio’s time working alongside Christine, founder of Vets on the Meowve, at the Tyne & Wear branch. Seeing the positive impact of mobile veterinary care first-hand inspired him to bring the same trusted service to the North West.
Supporting Antonio is Mia, our friendly receptionist, and Angela, our dedicated Registered Veterinary Nurse, helping every visit run smoothly and with compassion.
Based in Prestwich, we proudly cover Greater Manchester and surrounding areas within approximately a 30–40 mile radius. If you’re unsure whether we visit your area, simply get in touch and we’ll be happy to check your postcode.

Antonio Rico-Villademoros Martin
MRCVS Managing Director / Veterinary SurgeonI qualified as a vet in Madrid in 2017 and have over 8 years’ experience in general practice and emergency care. I’ve lived in Manchester for more than five years and value the strong community and warmth of people in the North. Working with Vets on the Meowve’s mobile service lets me spend unhurried time with each pet, providing care in a calm, familiar setting and making both pets and their owners feel more at ease.
I’m committed to delivering high-quality, up-to-date care with a focus on animal welfare and supporting owners. Whether in clinic or emergencies, I aim to provide a compassionate, personalised experience that supports both pet health and owner peace of mind. Building relationships with clients and their animals is one of the most rewarding parts of my work.
At home, I have Juan, a sleek black cat with attitude, and Berta, an energetic rescue Staffy – daily reminders of why I love what I do.

ReceptionistHi, I’m Mia! I’m a dedicated receptionist and animal care assistant with several years of experience in the veterinary field. I spent four years working in an emergency hospital, where I gained valuable knowledge and hands-on experience that I bring with me every day to help support you and your pets. I take pride in giving my best in everything I do and truly enjoy helping both people and their animals. I’m friendly, approachable, and always willing to go the extra mile to make everyone feel welcome and cared for. I also love a good chat and hearing all about your pets! Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my son and my two fur babies, a chihuahua named Hugo and a cat called Toasty.

Angela Oakshott
Registered Veterinary NurseHi, I’m Angela, a Registered Veterinary Nurse at Vets on the Meowve North West.
I qualified in 2020 after I decided a new career was needed. I have worked in first opinion practices, then moved on to emergency and critical care at larger hospitals.
My love of animals is what drove me to take that step into the veterinary sector, and I have loved every minute of it!
I share my home with just a few fur babies… 2 dogs, 5 cats and 2 guinea pigs. Oh, and how can I forget about Star and Louie, our horse and pony.
Animals are a big part of my life, but I also enjoy spending time with family & friends, and crocheting the odd toy.
