Vets on the Meowve West Midlands was created to bring calm, convenient, high-quality veterinary care to pets and their owners across the region.
Led by Suzanne Muirhead, an experienced Veterinary Surgeon who has worked in small animal practice since graduating in 2010, the branch is built on a passion for compassionate care, strong client relationships, and giving pets the time and attention they deserve in the comfort of their own homes.
Supporting Suzanne is Will Townsend, a dedicated Registered Veterinary Nurse who began his veterinary career at 16 and qualified in 2017. With experience as a Head Nurse managing a large clinical team, Will brings outstanding nursing skills, leadership, and a genuine passion for patient care.
Having worked together for many years, Suzanne and Will share the same vision — a more personal, less stressful veterinary service designed around pets and their families.
Based in the West Midlands, we proudly cover a wide surrounding area. If you’re unsure whether we visit your postcode, simply get in touch and we’ll be happy to help.
Our mission is simple — exceptional veterinary care, delivered with heart.
I graduated from Glasgow University School of Veterinary Medicine in 2010 and have been working in small animal practice since. I love getting to know our lovely clients and their furry family members, working together to help keep them happy and healthy. I find visiting pets in their home means they are more relaxed, make friends with us easier and allows more time to tailor their care to their needs. I enjoy all the many different aspects of general practice including surgery and diagnostic imaging but have a particular interest in internal medicine and a soft spot for our feline friends having gained two little strays over the years. Apart from work and being a full time cat servant, I like to find time for an outdoor swim and enjoy a good walk in the countryside especially if there’s a pub stop along the way!
Hi I’m Will. I’ve been a veterinary nurse, working in small animal practice, for 12 years. I qualified as a Registered Veterinary Nurse in 2017 and became the head nurse at a busy practice in 2021. I enjoy spending time with pets and their family, making both feel comfortable and relaxed for their examinations and assisting with procedures. This is why I find home visits so rewarding. Outside of work I enjoy long walks with my two little Jack Russells and sometimes you’ll find me taking a cold plunge doing outdoor swimming.
